WHAT THE HELL IS A ‘KOPSTOOTJE’?

The Kopstoot is a nickname for a beer and a shot of Juniper on the side. This combination is an centuries old tradition in the Dutch drinking culture. We have a few variations for you!

1.THE CLASSIC “KOPSTOOT”
Enjoy a small glass of JAJEM next to your beer.

2. THE “KOPSTOOT” FOR THE BEGINNERS
A small glass of white beer with the JAJEM Flower shot on the side, a shot with added 1/3 elderflower liqueur.

3. THE “KOPSTOOT” FOR THE MORE ADVANCED DRINKERS
Pour the shot of JAJEM in to your beer and drink it at once!

JAJEM COCKTAILS
We have a few delicious JAJEM cocktail suggestions:

  • RED LIGHT MULE:
    – 45 ml JAJEM

    -120 ml ginger beer
    – 1/2 lime
    – 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • AMSTERDAMNED NEGRONI:
    – 30 ml Campari
    – 30 ml JAJEM
    – 30 ml Vermouth (Willems Wermoed)
    – Orange cest
  • JT! JAJEM TONIC:
    – 35 ml JAJEM
    – 100 ml Fevertree Elderflower Tonic
    – lemongrass
    – lemon wedges
  • JAJEM SCROPPINO:
    – 125 ml lemon sorbet
    – 75 ml prosecco
    – 12,5 ml JAJEM
  • DAISY J:
    – 35 ml JAJEM
    – 100 ml lemon juice
    – 1/2 teaspoon Orgeat Syrup
    – 1 teaspoon Luxardo Maraschino
